For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, and the website itself, the following terms relate to Handbag Hire HQ: "Handbag Hire HQ", "Handbag Hire HQ Ltd", "HHHQ", "we", "the company", "the service", "us", "our", "www.handbaghirehq.co.uk", "www.handbaghirehq.net", www.handbaghirehq.com,", "the site" and "the website". Handbag Hire HQ is a designer handbag hire website, with an additional function to acquire bags when available.
Membership
Applicants for membership are making an offer to join Handbag Hire HQ which may be accepted or rejected at the company's discretion. The offer is made via the Sign Up page and all details added must be true, current and correct.
Members must be resident in the UK or the European Union.
Members must be aged 18 or over.
Members must have a valid method of payment (PayPal, credit or debit card).
Membership is for one person's use only unless expressly agreed by Handbag Hire HQ.
There is no minimum membership period. Each month or segment of a month is charged at £7.50.
By hiring a bag from HHHQ, members agree to look after the bag and return it on time and in good condition.
Members will not sell, rehire or modify bags belonging to HHHQ.
Upon signing up with the site, all member obligations detailed within these Terms and Conditions will apply to said member.
Upon hiring their first bag, the member will undertake the company's security checks before their first bag is despatched. The company will often run credit checks as part of its security checks. HHHQ reserves the right to pre-authorise a minimum charge equal to the replacement value of the hired bag as part of its security checks.
Payment
By joining HHHQ, members agree to pay £7.50 per calendar month, unless they have won their membership in a competition or via a similar promotion (in which case they will be contacted when the prize/promotion period expires regarding future payments if they wish to continue with their membership). This payment will automatically renew on the anniversary of the Sign Up date. Should a payment date fall on a non-working day it may be charged on the next working day.
Members also agree to pay the relevant weekly or monthly fee for the bag they select, when they proceed to the Check Out page, and £9.95 delivery/return (delivery only in EU).
By joining HHHQ and using the service, members authorise the company to process charges on their payment card / PayPal account, in the instances of membership fee, hire payments and damage/loss payments (see Damage/Loss section for full details). Members also authorise Handbag Hire HQ to take an authorization of the members card details which allows us to confirm there is sufficient credit available in the member's account to cover loss of damage to the bag if that were to occur whilst the bag is hired to the member. Such authorization does not take any money from the member's account but ensures the a sum of money is available in the account. Please note that when sending a bag to the EU we will always process an authorisation, please email jo@handbaghirehq.co.uk for further details if required.
Authorisation to take payments will continue until the member or Handbag Hire HQ terminate or suspend the membership.
Handbag Hire HQ will not divulge member's payment details to third parties.
HHHQ reserves the right to terminate or suspend membership for failure to use the service in a proper manner, non-payment of fees or a breach of these Terms and Conditions. In such instances, the company will take necessary measures to reclaim any property oustanding, eg, handbags due for return, and the member will be liable for any expenses thereby incurred.
Similarly, should Handbag Hire HQ incur any costs for late payments or late returns of bags hired, the company reserves the right to pass these expenses on to the member for payment.
Taxes are included in all HHHQ prices and fees; members agree to pay these taxes as their responsibility.
Members are solely liable for any charges incurred on their own financial account by their own act or omission. Members should notify HHHQ of any problems regarding processing of payments.
Authenticity and Provision of Bags
All bags provided by Handbag Hire HQ are authentic designer bags and are provided in new or as-new condition. Proof of authenticity and receipts are available for inspection upon request.
All bags remain the exclusive property of Handbag Hire HQ at all times.
Members may hire up to two bags maximum at any one time.
Damage/Loss
Should the bags become damaged, lost or stolen, the member agrees to meet the costs incurred by such an occurrence. Damage includes tears, stains, broken buckles, zips, straps, button, tags and also smoke damage/smells. This list is not exclusive and any unreasonable damage will be charged for at the discretion of HHHQ. Wherever possible, Handbag Hire HQ will endeavour to repair damage and keep ensuing costs as low as possible.
Bags are insured in transit from HHHQ to the member and during their return under the conditions of Royal Mail Special Delivery. For members in Ireland, bags are sent by insured air freight and we request that they are returned in the same manner.
HHHQ undertake to despatch the bags in good condition and expect to receive the bags back in similar condition.
Replacement fees for hired handbags are determined by Handbag Hire HQ. Consideration will be given to the retail value of the handbag, its rarity, how easily replaced it is and the number of occasions it has been hired, together with its condition. If members wish to know the replacement value of any of our bags they should contact HHHQ.
Changes to Terms and Conditions and the Website
HHHQ reserves the right to modify and change the site and the Terms and Conditions at our discretion and without notifying members. Modifications to the website will be ongoing, to include our Newspage, new bags being added and obsolete bags being removed, new features and other modifications as we see fit.
If an issue arises following changes or modifications, members may exercise their right to cancel their membership of HHHQ by contacting us directly.
HHHQ will correct any mistakes or omissions as soon as they are discovered.
Members should check the Terms and Conditions regularly.
Limitation of Liability
Handbag Hire HQ will not be held liable for direct, consequential or indirect loss or damages of any kind suffered by members as a result of any act or omission of Handbag Hire HQ. This clause extends beyond the lifespan of the membership.
HHHQ supply only authentic designer bags, as authenticated to the best of our ability. All suppliers are rigorously checked, but HHHQ cannot be held responsible for external companies' misrepresentation or malpractice.
Cancellation
Members and Handbag Hire HQ may terminate the agreement, and therefore membership, at any time.
There is no minimum membership period.
If a member cancels their membership while they still have a bag in their possession, they must return the bag within 5 days. If the bag is not returned within the 5 days it will be treated as lost or stolen.
Handbag Hire HQ does not offer credits or refunds for any partial membership period.
Confidentiality
All emails and communication between the member and HHHQ is confidential, unless agreed by both parties.
Members are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of their password and membership details.
If members suspect unauthorised use of their membership they must contact HHHQ immediately and we will take appropriate action.
Waiting List
If a member would like a certain bag for a certain date and hire period, they can email a request to HHHQ at enquiries@handbaghirehq.co.uk. The Waiting List is subject to availability and HHHQ will send an email back to the member, confirming whether or not the bag is reserved on the Waiting List. HHHQ will do their utmost to fulfil the member's reservation, but cannot guarantee it if the bag has, for example, not been returned by the previous hirer. In such a case, the company will offer an alternative and keep the member informed if there is a chance their desired bag will eventually be available. When a bag is on the Waiting List for a date in the future, HHHQ will note its unavailability on the bag's individual web page, so that other members can see it has been reserved. This allows the bag to be hired on shorter rental periods if still an option.
Acquire Function
The HHHQ website includes the Acquire Function to allow people to buy bags, either ex-rental or brand new where available.
This function is serviced by email and each case is dealt with on an individual basis.
HHHQ cannot guarantee availability of each bag and will keep the customer advised of all communication with suppliers, any delays and all costs involved.
Delivery charges for purchased bags are £4.95 to the UK and £9.95 to the EU. Delivery is made by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which includes insurance.
The Acquire Function is available to members and non-members, but HHHQ reserves the right to offer special offers to members only as it sees fit.
The Acquire Function is currently a secondary service to the hire function and is to be considered as an additional benefit of HHHQ.
Hire Period and Delivery/Return
The hire period begins the day the bag is shipped and ends the day it is taken to the Post Office to be returned. This is proveable by Post Office receipt and both parties must provide such proof if requested.
HHHQ reserves the right to extend the hire period for promotional purposes, at no further cost to the member.
Customers may extend their hire period, upon the discretion of Handbag Hire HQ, subject to a request being made directly to Handbag Hire HQ.
HHHQ undertakes to email the member once the bag has been sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery. The company will not be held liable for any delays, loss or damage by Royal Mail and members agree to advise HHHQ of any delays or damage that have occurred in transit.
When returning a bag, the member agrees to email Handbag Hire HQ to advise the bag has been despatched.
All packaging, dust bags, and authenticity cards supplied with the bag must be returned with the bag in the original box, which should be adequately sealed and the return label affixed.
Promotional literature may have been sent to the member within the box and may be retained by the member, disposed of or returned, as the member wishes.
Bags being returned from the EU must be returned fully insured, at the members' cost, on the quickest available service.
Failure to return a bag on the correct date will result in HHHQ contacting the member and treating the bag as lost or stolen. HHHQ reserve the right to charge as detailed above.
Links, Advertising and Promotion
HHHQ will, at times, be featured and linked to other websites and in the press. Such features and links will not always be under the control of HHHQ and will not necessarily reflect the beliefs or opinions of HHHQ. Handbag Hire HQ will not be held liable for such material.
HHHQ reserves the right to use opinions or statements as it sees fit without contacting the originator first. This includes information provided on questionaires and submissions of general information.
HHHQ undertakes to correct any inaccuracies or omissions as soon as they are detected.
Privacy and Obligations
HHHQ takes the privacy and security of its members and website visitors very seriously.

Members will not upload any information from the website that has not been created expressly for that purpose, including personal or objectionable details.
Members will not interfere with the workings of the site, its networks, servers, software or hardware.
Members will not use any of the Handbag Hire HQ logos or trademarks without the express permission of HHHQ.
Visitors to the site will not use the site to distribute disturbing or illegal information, or transmit any information.
Use of the site is for the rental and sale of designer handbags and for no other purpose.
HHHQ reserve the right to test the website at any time. Members might be included in such tests without notice.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be settled before the English courts.
These Terms and Conditions are not extended to third parties.
Indemnity
Members agree to indemnify HHHQ from any loss, liability, claim or demand made by any third party due to, or arising from, use of the company's services whereby these Terms and Conditions have been breached or violated.
Copyright and Permission
No part of the website may be copied, reproduced, uploaded, transmitted or distributed without the express consent of Handbag Hire HQ.
Trademarks belonging to any company have been used in good faith and should not be altered in any way.
Use of any trademarks or trade names does not mean that HHHQ necessarily have the express consent of the owner or any affiliation with the owner.
In General
Handbag Hire HQ commits to providing a designer handbag hire service, with the added option of purchasing new or used bags where available. HHHQ undertakes to do all that is reasonable to provide an efficient service and authentic bags to its members.
