Shipping a Handgag
Full details of the hire rates for the Handbag Hire HQ handbags are outlined in detail on the Site. All products will be delivered to members in the UK via Royal Mail Special Delivery for a fee of £9.95 per item. This delivery fee, which will be billed to your credit or debit card, covers both the delivery of the product to as well as the subsequent return by you. Full transit insurance for the product up to its replacement fee is also included in the delivery fee. A prepaid Royal Mail Special Delivery ticket will be included with each product delivery for you to use in returning the product to us. Your hire period starts on the day the bag is shipped. **Please note that shipment to the European Union is £9.95 one way and that return shipment costs are the responsibility of the customer. (We recommend using an insured service wherever possible.)
Delivery time for products you have selected to borrow may vary based upon your delivery address, stock availability, when you place an order, and other circumstances impacting delivery by Royal Mail. We will do endeavour to ensure that the product reaches you within three days of your order being placed, however, Handbag Hire HQ makes no guarantees as to actual delivery time and time for delivery of the products to you shall not be of the essence of your contract with us. Once the handbag(s) you have ordered have been passed to the third party carrier, we will email you advising you of the delivery details and the estimated time and date of delivery. The risk of loss for items shipped passes to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
Returning a Handbag
When you're ready to return the bag simply pack it in its original packaging and ensure it is properly sealed. Affix the return address label and, if sending from the UK, Royal Mail Special Delivery label provided to you when the bag was first delivered. Take the package to any Royal Mail post office for return to Handbag Hire HQ. Customers returning bags from the European Union do so at their own cost and risk, as there is no facility available for us to offer a return service via Royal Mail at present, and should do so by air, via their local post office.
You must return all products you hire from Handbag Hire HQ on the date notified to you for return of the products. The date of return that is stipulated is the date on (or before) which you must take the bag to a post office for return to us by Royal Mail Special Delivery. In any event, the maximum duration for hire of any of our products will be 3 (three) months. If you wish to continue hiring the same bag for a further period of up to 3 (three) months then contact us and we will advise you as to whether this is possible.
We will notify you by email of the despatch and receipt of hired bags. If you fail to return a product to us by the due date for return notified to you, we reserve the right to treat the product as lost and charge your credit or debit card with the full replacement fee (as detailed below within the Terms and Conditions).
